Although I was not working, I soon wanted to take Polish lessons so I could communicate with the people I met. I have acquired a small level that allows me a basic communication. That's what I was looking for. So I am satisfied with the result. My teacher Sylvia was patient and attentive to my needs. The classes are fun with a very original method.

Piotr presented a surprisingly interesting outlook on Polish history and culture for a group of Dutch managers from the cultural sector. It was really an eye opener between all the common theories about historical roots of the Polish culture. Generally Dutch people do not know a lot about Polish history and culture and Piotr's point of view is most interesting but also a bit confusing because it refers to the very old deeper layers of the Polish nobility in medieval times. You may agree with him or not, but his idea is very much worth to listen to.
